Zürcher Freilager: Digital communication that strengthens the neighbourhood

More cooperation, less effort: Zurich Freilager uses the Allthings platform to simplify communication with over 1000 residents and to promote coexistence on the site.

Starting position

Zürcher Freilager AG manages over 850 apartments, 200 student rooms and around 20,000 m² of commercial space on the traditional site. The challenge was to create uniform, transparent communication with tenants without generating high administrative costs.

The search was therefore for a platform which, on the one hand, creates efficiency and, on the other hand, strengthens the sense of community.

Digital neighborhood

For around eight years, Zurich Freilager has been using the Allthings platform as a central link between residents, administration and service providers. All tenant concerns are recorded centrally via the digital service point and automatically forwarded to the responsible authorities. The integrated Yarowa craftsman portal ensures consistent processes and clear traceability — from notification to completion.

But Freilager didn't just want process optimization

Residents can sell, borrow or exchange things via the market and rental area. Share in groups and chats via the bulletin board and the community. This creates a lively neighborhood.

Efficiency meets community

Today, a lot of things are automated at Zurich's outdoor warehouse: from ticket processing to repair orders to bookings for common areas or parking spaces.

The team keeps track of pending issues at all times, even during vacation absences, and can react flexibly. At the same time, the community functions contribute to higher tenant satisfaction: more exchange, less distance, more life in the neighborhood.

The Zurich open-air warehouse impressively shows how digital neighbourhood promotion and process automation can go hand in hand. Allthings makes administration easier, communication more direct and living together more lively.
